Arthur is the Chief Strategist for both our Emerging Markets Strategy and China Investment Strategy, and he is also a member of BCA’s Leadership Team.
He joined BCA in 1999 and has served in the Chief Strategist role since 2005, managing investment strategies that span four asset classes— equities, currencies, local currency bonds, and sovereign credit—for overall EM and across 20 developing countries.
Arthur is BCA’s longest-serving Chief Strategist, well known in the industry for his in-depth research, out-of-the-box thinking, and non-consensus investment calls. He also plays a major role in upholding our quality standards for investment research and products.
Before joining BCA, Arthur worked for a financial regulatory government agency in Armenia. He holds a Master in Economic Policy Management from McGill University, and an MBA from America University of Armenia.
