Mathieu Savary

Chief Strategist, European Investment Strategy

Mathieu identifies exceptional investment opportunities within the European economy.

His expertise lies in analyzing key global macroeconomic factors, such as liquidity, financial conditions, and market shocks and understanding their impact on the broader European economic landscape. He is also a member of the BCA Research Leadership Team.

Previously at BCA, Mathieu held the position of Strategist for the firm’s Bank Credit Analyst and Daily Insights services. He has also led our Foreign Exchange Strategy and served as Senior Editor of the Global Investment Strategy, as well as Research Analyst for the European Investment Strategy. Additionally, he co-developed BCA Research’s “Principles of Global Macro” seminar, a course he continues to teach to investors worldwide.

Before joining BCA Research, Mathieu was a Global Macro Research Analyst with Brandywine Global Investment Management. He holds a BCom in Finance and Economics from McGill University and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder.
