Global Asset Allocation
Xiaoli is Associate Strategist for Global Asset Allocation, our portfolio construction service. In this role, she advises CIOs and asset allocation teams on optimum ways to structure global multi-asset portfolios.
This is Xiaoli’s second tenure with BCA Research. She initially joined the firm in 1999 as a quantitative analyst, then returned in 2015 in her current role. In between, her experience has ranged from equity research (CDPQ, Royal Bank of Canada) to global macro hedge fund trading (partner, Perseus Capital) to global equity overlays and pension fund asset allocation (portfolio manager, AIMCo).
Xiaoli holds a PhD in Engineering from Beijing University of Science & Technology and an MSc in Economics from the University of Montreal. She is fluent in Mandarin, English and French.
